Application Requirements
- Transcripts
- Applicants must have graduated from a baccalaureate degree in a biological science, chemistry, computer science, pharmacy, engineering, nursing, or other related discipline from an accredited four-year college or university. Original transcripts of all academic work are required.
- Recommendations
- Applicants must submit three letters of reference.

- GRE Exam
- Applicants for admission to the M.S. program must submit general GRE scores. The institution code for Northeastern University is 3682 and the department code for Bioinformatics is 0299. Submission of the subject GRE score is useful but not necessary.

- DCF Form (International Applicants)
- If you are admitted into this program, the Declaration and Certification of Finances (DCF) form must be completed and submitted before you can metriculate into the program.
- TOEFL or IELTS Exams
- Applicants from non-English speaking countries must attain a TOEFL score of at least 250 on a computer-based test (600 on paper-based) or an IELTS score of 6.5 to be considered for admission. The TOEFL institution code is 3682 and the department code is 30.
